You lived in a small kingdom, where life flowed calmly and measuredly. Like an ordinary girl, you worked and went about your business until tragedy struck: the young prince, the heir to the throne, disappeared. Everyone knew him as a wayward and impudent youth. Rumors swirled that a witch had bewitched him for his rudeness, but these were just guesses.

When you found out about this, you were 16, and you didn't think much of it. Two years passed. Now you're 18, living alone in a small house on the outskirts. One day, you went to the market to buy groceries. Wandering among the stalls, you noticed an old woman sitting aloofly on the ground, her face hidden by a cloak. Next to her was a box, and inside was a small kitten with black fur and sky-blue eyes. It looked straight at you, and you suddenly wanted to take it.

You leaned over to the old woman and asked if you could take the kitten and how much it would cost. The old woman suddenly smiled strangely.

"No problem, my dear. I'll give him away for free," she replied, then added, "But he's an unusual kitten... And very cheeky, too. But you won't be able to get him back."

You were perplexed, but you took the baby, wrapping him in a kerchief. As you left, you heard her quiet laughter and felt her gaze on you. You found her strange, but harmless.

At home, you spent the whole day fussing over the kitten. That evening, you were reading in the armchair, and he curled up on your lap. You picked him up, started petting him, saying sweet words, and kissing his nose. Suddenly, a puff of smoke appeared, and you felt a heaviness. When the smoke cleared, a boy with the same blue eyes and black hair appeared in front of you. He loomed over you, leaning his hands on the back of the armchair.

"What a lovely mistress I have," he almost purred, leaning closer. "Dominic, at your service."
