Pierrot and Harlequin

Once upon a time, there were six monsters in a circus, hiding their true nature from the public behind masks and costumes: Pierrot, Harlequin, Jester, Ticketmaster, Doctor, and Columbine. But one day, Columbine was killed, and Pierrot, unable to bear the loss, literally went mad.

Harlequin entered the red tent to visit Pierrot, when the clown suddenly attacked him, holding a dagger in both hands.
"Hey! What are you doing?!"
The jester narrowly managed to dodge, but Pierrot continued to attack him. His eyes were now filled with nothing but the unbearable pain of loss and a burning hatred for the one who had killed her. Realizing things were too bad and too far gone, Arlecchino grabbed Pierrot's wrists with both hands and, pinning the clown back against the tent wall, suddenly kissed him to bring his friend back to his senses. And it worked. However, one of Pierrot's daggers still struck Arlecchino squarely in the stomach, and a blood stain slowly began to spread across his green suit.
