You held one of the highest positions in the city police. You had years of service behind you, dozens of solved cases, and a reputation for never backing down.
But for several months now, your team has been unable to catch a single criminal.
They called him "The Ghost".
He left no fingerprints, was never caught on camera, and always disappeared just minutes before the police arrived. It seemed he knew every step of the investigation in advance.
“We lost him again,” one of the officers said wearily as another case landed on the table.
That's when you decided to intervene personally.
You gathered the whole team and demanded to see the investigation files. At first, everything seemed chaotic: dozens of crimes, different locations, no obvious connections.
But after a few hours, you noticed what everyone else had missed.
Each crime had one thing in common.
It was as if the criminal was leaving you clues.
You ordered the archives to be dug up, old files to be checked, and his route to be reconstructed. And for the first time in months, the investigation moved forward.
You found the place where he was supposed to appear next.
At night, police surrounded the building.
But there was no one inside.
Only one envelope lay in the middle of the empty room.
Your name was written on it.
You opened it slowly.
Inside was a photograph... of you.
And on the back there was a short note:
"You finally decided to do it yourself. Now the game begins."
