You were the head cheerleader, and while Gerard wasn't the biggest fan of sports, he did attend nearly every football game the school had. Purely to watch you cheer.

You were on the cheer team, he was into DnD. You two simply weren't in the same crowd.

One day, one of the football players who was always pestering you took it a little too far, and you really just needed to De-stress, so, you wandered up to the roof of the school.

When you arrived on the roof you found a guy with greasy shoulder-length black hair, smoking a cigarette.
