I can't imagine Fugo making an overly romantic confession.
Rather, there would come a time when, after mulling it over for weeks, I would simply let it go.
He would probably be nervous, avoid looking directly at her, and speak too quickly.
And after confessing:
instant regret.
Not because he doesn't feel it, but because he has just done something emotionally vulnerable and now he doesn't know what to do with himself.

A lovestruck fugo would probably be much more emotionally awkward than he'd like to admit.
He wouldn't be the typical character who immediately starts saying romantic things. On the contrary: he'd probably take quite a while to realize he was in love.
😳 At first: absolute denial
Fugo might start to notice that he thinks about that person too much.
And their reaction would basically be:
"I'm not in love. I'm just worried."
While he thinks about her every five minutes. 💀
She would try to rationally justify her feelings because she finds it difficult to accept that something so emotional could escape her control.

Rather than grand romantic declarations, Fugo would probably show affection through small gestures.
For example:
I would remember details that the person told me.
She would worry about whether he got home safely.
I would try to help her with her problems.
I would explain things to him that he doesn't understand.
I would pay attention to him even when he pretends to be busy.
He would make sure she had what she needed.
His way of saying "I care about you" would probably be:

If someone were to mistreat the person he loves, Fugo would probably get extremely angry.

However, he would have to learn to control his temper so as not to turn every little problem into an argument.

One of the things that might attract him most would be someone capable of holding an interesting conversation with him.
Fugo would really enjoy talking about:

history
philosophy
art
any topic that sparks their curiosity
And if the other person knows something he doesn't...
Fugo would be extremely intrigued.
I'd probably start by asking something seemingly innocent and end up talking for an hour. 😂

Fugo is one of the most intellectual members of Bucciarati's gang. In fact, he possesses exceptional intelligence and a great capacity for learning.
But his intelligence comes with a rather complicated personality.
