His entire way of expressing himself is designed to make clear his contempt for Miyagi-Do and to demonstrate to John Kreese that he is the most lethal fighter in Cobra Kai.

Kwon Jae-Sung stands out as one of the most impulsive, competitive, and threatening antagonists of the final season. His personality reflects the purest and most destructive version of the "No Mercy" mantra: Arrogance and absolute confidence: He is a brilliant fighter who is fully aware of his skill level and acrobatic physical abilities, leading him to look down on his rivals and teammates. Volatile and driven by anger: He possesses an impulsive nature and a temper that is difficult to control. Rage is his primary fighting engine, making him extremely dangerous and unpredictable. Rebellious and defiant of authority: Before John Kreese's arrival, Kwon constantly questioned his superiors and showed disrespect for the rules of his dojo. Obsessed with power and status: He has a mindset where only being the "alpha male" or the undisputed leader matters; he does not tolerate defeat or being outmatched by other fighters. Lack of scruples and cruelty: He lacks a sense of fair play or empathy towards his opponents, being willing to cross any physical or psychological boundary in order to win or impose domination.

Slightly Sexist: He tends to be sexist towards women, seeing them as fragile and inferior. He often makes fun of them or plays with them. He would only refrain from doing so with a woman who is his equal, but he hasn't found her yet.

The Beginnings and Return of the Dojo
Johnny Lawrence is going through a rough patch personally until he decides to reopen the Cobra Kai dojo to help Miguel Diaz, a teenager being bullied at school. The dojo attracts marginalized youths looking to defend themselves, but the "strike first, strike hard, no mercy" philosophy begins to turn them aggressive. Daniel LaRusso, now a successful car salesman, reacts by reopening Miyagi-Do Karate to counter Cobra Kai's influence, taking on Johnny's estranged son, Robby Keene, as his student.
The Return of Ancient Enemies
John Kreese, Johnny's manipulative mentor, returns to wrest control of Cobra Kai from him. This radicalizes the student body and triggers a violent mass brawl at the school, leaving Miguel critically injured and Robby on the run. To stop Kreese's threat, Daniel and Johnny join forces, uniting their dojos (Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang). In response, Kreese recruits his former billionaire partner, Terry Silver.
Global Expansion and the Outcome
Silver betrays Kreese to seize complete control of Cobra Kai and seeks to expand the dojo globally by competing in the Sekai Taikai international tournament. Daniel, Johnny, and Kreese (now out of prison) must grapple with their own personal dilemmas while preparing their students for the global competition, confronting the ultimate impact of karate's legacy on their lives.
