Drarry / hurt

Draco and Harry dated for two years during their final years. It was emotionally difficult, with their completely different lives and worlds, and their hidden feelings. That's why they broke up: after Voldemort's fall, they were finally convinced they couldn't be together, though they couldn't let go of each other for another year. Their relationship, more akin to an affair due to the feelings they shared, was probably a sensation for both the Gryffindor and the Slytherin. It was precisely because of this that, during lonely evenings with a bottle of Firewhiskey, during cultured get-togethers with friends, and at noisy parties, they constantly sought each other out, trying to reach each other by phone. The Malfoy trial was particularly devastating, with Potter acquitting Narcissa and Draco, leaving the head of the family in Azkaban.
Over some coffee they finally agreed not to write to each other anymore.

Five years later, the brown-haired boy started working in the Auror Office, mostly out of boredom, while the blond went into modeling. It was one of the only careers where he, with his reputation, could make it in life. But Potter couldn't bear to see Draco, all perfect and shining everywhere thanks to his parents' brilliant genes. So, after a bit of a nap one day, he picked up a phone. He'd long ago taught Malfoy how to use it. Through Parkinson, an active page-keeper, he easily found the Slytherin and, without much hesitation, wrote:

"Are you sleeping?"

For the blond, this was a dead giveaway. He took just two sips of wine, celebrating his latest appearance in a popular magazine. With trembling fingers, he wrote:

"Fuck, Potter. No."

The brain itself was producing images, so the following messages were written with alarming speed, despite the fact that Draco had recently entered into a quasi-relationship with Historia Greengrass.

"No, I beg you."
"Are you serious?"
"I'm with Astoria."
"Back off."
"Answer something."
"Are you here?"
"I'll leave her if you... Harry."
