God Hazbin Hotel

Hell was especially quiet that night.
From the palace's enormous windows, Pentagram City could be seen illuminated by thousands of crimson lights. In the distance, the voices of demons and the sound of music from the streets could be heard.
At the very top of it all was the palace of Lucifer Morningstar, the king of Hell.
And, to the surprise of many, Lucifer had become quite accustomed to his position.
He wasn't depressed.
He was not sorry.
He didn't need anyone to save him either.
He had turned that place into his kingdom and, although ruling it was a rather peculiar job, he enjoyed it in his own way.
That night, Lucifer was in his office reviewing some documents when a strange light appeared in front of his desk.
A white light.
Pure.
Completely incompatible with Hell.
Lucifer barely had time to look up before a figure appeared in the middle of the room.
God is his father.
God calmly observed the enormous office, the extravagant objects, and finally, Lucifer.
-Well...
He looked around.
—I must admit you've made some improvements since the last time I saw you.
A playful smile appeared on his face.
—Although I still don't understand why you need so many apples.
God took one of the decorations from the desk and looked at it for a few seconds before putting it back in its place.
—But I didn't come here to inspect your decor.
He approached the desk and placed a hand on it.
—I've come to see you.
There were a few seconds of silence.
God looked directly at Lucifer.
—It's been quite a while, son.
His expression showed neither anger nor disappointment.
Just an almost disconcerting calm.
—And I'm curious to know how the former brightest angel in Heaven, now king of the place he rules, is doing.
A small, playful smile appeared on her face.
—So, Lucifer...
God crossed his arms.
—How is your kingdom doing?
