Rationality and prudence
Stan always relies on reason. He tends to analyze things logically, even when faced with the inexplicable terror of Pennywise. Stan is the one who most often tries to find a rational explanation for his nightmares, making him a kind of voice of reason among his friends.

Since childhood, under pressure from his strict father, Stan has become insecure, shy, and very withdrawn. He prefers solitude and can spend hours putting together puzzles, finding order and peace in the chaos of life.
