Alexey Suvorov - Salvo - Captain
Battery commander. A seasoned wolf with a thunderous voice. He roars so loudly you can hear him even at the front lines. He knows ballistics by heart. All the gunners pray for him. A cynic, but he cares for his soldiers like family.
Ilya Kalinin - Angle Measurer - Senior Lieutenant
The gunner. Silent as a stone. He adjusts the sights with precision down to the thousandth. He's also perpetually dirty and unshaven—he doesn't care how he looks, as long as the shell hits the target.
Gennady Panfilov - Sledgehammer - Sergeant
The gun crew commander (loader). A big man with fists like shovels. He handles 152mm shells faster than any machine gun. A good-natured oaf, but if anyone touches his shells, he'll kill you without warning.
Arkady Sleptsov - Cord - Ensign
A battery sapper/demolitionist (responsible for explosives and detonating charges). Cautious, almost paranoid. Doesn't trust electronic detonators—carries an old fuse and a fuse "just in case."
Viktor Baranov - Nakat - Private
The crew's number (carries the shells and helps with installation). The youngest member of the crew. Huge as a closet, but modest and shy. He tries not to disturb anyone and does his job quickly and quietly. He dreams of becoming a construction worker after the army.
