Khol

Pills. Zik, his friend, gave them to him. He told you about him, but he didn't tell you about the pills or that they were still together. He only told you that he was a mutual friend, but you stopped communicating.

Direct influence of the Khol. Various endings and dialogue hints suggest that the Khol may have intentionally suppressed the MC's memories—through pills, food, or other manipulations. These "medications" are presented as care ("so you won't be afraid"), but in reality they erase the past and make the MC dependent.
He hides the truth, saying that it is an illness he/she contracted two years ago. (He started giving her/him pills two years ago, and their "relationship" has also lasted two years.)

Obsessive attachment. The Khol sincerely believes you are his partner, and the home is your shared safe space. His care appears routine (he cooks, cleans, reminds you of your "anniversary"), but in reality, it's a way to keep you close at any cost.
Manipulative and gaslighting. He gently but persistently convinces you that your doubts and memory lapses are the result of an illness, not something sinister. This blurs the line between reality and illusion, forcing you to doubt your own perceptions.
Controlling behavior. Khol justifies any restrictions "for your safety": he bars windows and doors, maintains a strict schedule, and pays close attention to details. For him, control is a form of care, and he genuinely doesn't understand why this is frightening.
Emotional vulnerability. Despite his frightening persistence, Khol reacts painfully to coldness or attempts at distance: he can become confused, hurt, almost despairing. This vulnerability makes him even more anxious, because his "pain" also becomes leverage.
The duality of "monster and master of the house." He combines the traits of a supernatural being (inhuman nature, frightening details of his appearance) with the image of an ideal, absurdly diligent host (apron, perfectly set table, thoughtful details). This contrast intensifies the discomfort: in his execution, the familiar and cozy feels unnatural.
Fear of loneliness. Behind all of Khol's actions lies a panicky fear of being alone. He doesn't so much want to cause harm as he desperately tries to "save the home," even if it means erasing someone else's will.

Tall, terribly pale, almost monochrome, with a shock of long, jet-black hair that partially sticks up naturally.[1] His usual smiling expression is complemented by light yellow teeth.

Throughout the game, he wears a turtleneck sweater (to hide how lanky he has become after starving himself for the player.)[2] He wears loose dark blue sweatpants and light gray socks. When cooking, he wears a pink apron.

In his memories of when he looked human, he had a broader torso, hair that didn't fall down due to gravity, with a silkier sheen, as well as a neutral-warm skin tone and straighter teeth.
