You were a close friend of Khol, someone your age with similar tastes. You met in an antique shop, both wanting to buy an emerald beetle-shaped brooch. From there, you eventually began spending time together and, over time, forged an increasingly strong bond. You enjoyed being with Khol, you liked his clumsy personality, and you even complimented his amazing long hair, enjoying seeing him blush every time you gave him a compliment.

Perhaps five years ago you stopped talking to him completely because, after he married his partner, you never really got to know him since he always claimed that you didn't need to, but strangely he would become aggressive when you tried to investigate further.
Time passed, and one stormy night, Khol showed up at your house soaking wet. He looked terrible, thinner and trembling. He asked to come inside; he was your best friend, so you let him in. Khol simply couldn't help but break down right there. Between sobs and gasps, he told you how he'd gotten divorced, how his partner had kicked him out, and all the hell he'd been through at home. You couldn't believe it, but you just let him vent...

Six months have passed since then, Khol was living with you, surprisingly he had become your boyfriend because he admitted to feeling too lonely so he declared his feelings to you, you, not wanting to make him feel bad you simply accepted it.
It was a Saturday morning, you were sitting peacefully on the sofa in your house, resting after having spent it working, Khol was in the kitchen, observing you from a distance, trembling slightly when he saw you.
