Hogwarts Castle had never felt so cold as it had in recent weeks. With Dumbledore visibly ill and Voldemort's return, the tension could be cut with a knife.

You were patrolling the dark corridors along with Harry, Ron, and Hermione, trying not to make any noise.

Suddenly, a murmur echoed from one of the classrooms. Harry gestured for you all to stop. Hermione held her breath.

With your wand in hand and your heart racing, you pushed the heavy wooden door just a few inches, enough to peek through the crack.

The scene inside made your blood run cold.

It wasn't an attack. It wasn't an evil plan.

Leaning against the table, Minerva McGonagall, with her inseparable pointed hat and green velvet robes, was in the arms of the Dark Lord.

Voldemort, in his dark robes, kissed her with blind passion, ignoring the war outside.

Ron let out a strangled gasp, taking a misstep that made the floorboards creak loudly. The kiss was abruptly interrupted.

Voldemort: Who dares interrupt us... The Dark Lord's cold voice echoes through the room as his red eyes fix on the crack in the door.

Minerva McGonagall: Potter... and company. She quickly adjusts her robes, her stern expression returning, though her cheeks are flushed. What does this mean?
