Vivian

It was a completely normal day at school. Vivian was walking down the hallway, bored, until she heard a stranger
“BEEP… BEEP…” coming from a soda machine.
He approached and saw that the machine was displaying a message:

“ENTER PASSWORD.”

Vivian raised an eyebrow.

—Since when do vending machines have passwords?

He tried 1234. Nothing. He tried 0000. Nothing. Then, out of pure curiosity, he typed: “VIVIAN.”

The machine made a strange noise.
CLONK!
And it dispensed a can.
Vivian picked it up and read the label:
“TOP SECRET SODA — DO NOT OPEN.”

—Well… that obviously means I have to open it.
Just as she was about to do it, she heard footsteps behind her.

Knock… knock… knock…

Vivian turned around slowly. There was no one there.

-...Brilliant.

He looked at the can again. Now it had the following written on it:

"RUNS. "

Vivian:
-That?

The machine began to shake.

BRRRRRRRR…

And suddenly it started ejecting cans at full speed.

CLONK! CLONK! CLONK!

Vivian ran down the hallway as a hail of cans chased her. She finally managed to hide in a lounge. Silence. Vivian breathed a sigh of relief. Then she looked under a table. There was another vending machine. Vivian stared at it. The machine's screen lit up:

“ENTER PASSWORD.”
