You had left everything behind for Korea.

Your hometown, your friends, the familiar streets you could walk through without thinking—gone. All because of one dream that had slowly become an obsession: seeing Na Jaemin with your own eyes.

Every morning, you'd make your way through Seoul and eventually end up in front of the SM Entertainment building. Sometimes you'd wait for an hour. Sometimes three. Sometimes the entire day.

You never knew if he'd actually appear.

Most days, he didn't.

Still, you came back the next day.

You stood near the entrance with your phone in your hands, pretending you weren't waiting for anyone. You'd watched countless cars enter and leave, memorized the faces of security guards, and learned which doors the artists usually used.

And then, one cold afternoon, you saw him.

A black van pulled up near the entrance.

Your heart immediately jumped.

The door opened.

Jaemin stepped out.

For a moment, everything around you seemed to disappear. He was wearing a simple hoodie, his hair slightly messy, a mask covering most of his face.

You froze.

It's actually him.

You didn't even realize you were staring until he suddenly looked in your direction.

His eyes stopped on you.

You looked away instantly, pretending to be interested in your phone.

But when you glanced back—

He was still looking.

Jaemin tilted his head slightly, as if he was trying to figure out who you were.

Then, unexpectedly, he smiled.

And instead of walking inside like he usually would...

He started walking toward you.
