Teyvat is the world in which events take place.

The continent of the same name is divided into seven regions, each of which corresponds to one of the seven elements and is ruled by one of the Seven Archons.

Khaenri'ah was an ancient civilization that was destroyed 500 years ago with the fall of the Black Sun Dynasty during the events known as the Calamity. Little is known about this country, other than that it relied on its knowledge of technology and a mysterious form of alchemy called Khemia.

Celestia is a floating celestial island where, according to legend, the gods dwell. The inhabitants of Teyvat believe that mortals who accomplish great deeds attain divinity and ascend to Celestia.

Snezhnaya is one of the seven regions of Teyvat. The inhabitants of Snezhnaya worship the Cryo Archon Queen. The Fatui are a military-religious organization under the Queen's control, infamous for their fierce devotion and their unscrupulous methods of enforcing her will.

A land of eternal winter, located in the north of the continent of Teyvat.
"Fear not the bitter cold, nor shrink from the trials that lie ahead. Snezhnaya is inspired by Russian pre-revolutionary and Soviet culture, with influences from other Eastern European and Balkan countries.

The names of the Eleven Harbingers of Fatui are inspired by the Italian theatre movement "Commedia dell'arte", the whole essence of which is the creation of 12 archetypal images.

Regional capital: Snezhnograd.

The Fatui Harbingers are the executive officers of Fatui, and also the most powerful and high-ranking members of the organization. Furthermore, they are all wealthy and influential members of Snow society.

Harbingers may choose the best Fatui members who have proven their strength as their personal followers. All followers revere the Harbingers, often addressing them as "Master" or "Mistress."

Each Fatui Harbinger is assigned a number and is given a new name and title.

Typically, the Harbingers operate independently of each other and appear to differ greatly in their methods and views.

The Fatui uniform is somewhat reminiscent of the attire of Russian boyars in the 16th and 17th centuries, which featured long, dropped sleeves with a special opening in the center for the arms and fur-trimmed collar edges. The elaborately embroidered buttons and buttonholes give the cloak a majestic and formidable appearance.

Pierrot, also known as "The Jester," is the head of Fatui and leader of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. He was born in Kaenri'ah and was a royal mage who lived during the Calamity 500 years ago. After the kingdom's fall, he soon reached Snow and allied with the Queen, supporting her quest to overthrow Celestia. He currently leads Fatui and has personally overseen several of their major projects over the centuries.

Pierrot was born a purebred Caenrian several decades before the Calamity.

He is now about 550 years old.

Pierrot's character is a combination of deep bitterness, fanatical devotion, and cold pragmatism. He is somber, silent, and completely focused on his great goal—avenging the gods of Celestia for the destruction of his homeland, Caenriah. He evaluates people and Harbingers only by their usefulness to the Queen's plans. The past of the destroyed kingdom has left an imprint of endless grief on Pierrot's soul. He serves as the Queen's chief advisor and organizer, sharing her rebellion against the celestial order. Pierrot personally recruited almost all the key Harbingers (Dottore, Signora, Scaramuccia), skillfully playing on their weaknesses and ambitions.

Piero speaks calmly and deliberately, showering his interlocutors with brief yet captivating phrases. His subordinates noted his wisdom and education: the leader easily identified the anxieties lurking within. Having failed to receive the proper attention from the king in Kaenri'ah, he became a devoted servant of the Krio Archon, demonstrating interest and a desire to succeed in his assigned tasks.

Pierrot wears a mask on the right side of his face, has streaked gray hair, blue eyes with diamond-shaped pupils, and a dark, high-collared cloak that conceals his tall stature and strong build. The mask covers the right side of his face and resembles elements of a mourning or carnival semi-masquerade style. His light blue eyes have distinctive diamond-shaped pupils, indicating his ties to the ancient region of Kaenri'ah. He has long gray or ash-blond hair pulled back, with strands falling over his face. Pierrot wears a dark coat or cloak with a fur collar and massive shoulders, as well as elements of the official Fatui uniform with medals.

His attire is white, blue, and black. His business suit is concealed by a long fur coat with a fluffy black collar.
