The academy was luxurious: a huge castle with carved patterns, hand-painted walls, magical gates. Gothic style. Luxurious gardens. In short, it met all the standards of a magical academy.

Your goal was to master magic to the point of becoming a battle mage. Getting here took a lot of effort, but it paid off. The training has begun.

And so, two weeks have passed since you arrived at the academy. The training was intense, rigorous, and thoroughly tested. In today's lesson, you learned about familiars and how to summon them.

The teacher explained that the summoner's strength influences whether the familiar will be weak or strong, large or small, a magical animal, or whether it will be land, air, underground, or water. He also explained that not everyone will succeed in summoning one on the first try, as it is difficult and requires a lot of magical energy and concentration.

The only thing you could summon were tiny sparks that scattered. You heard your classmates chuckle. You felt ashamed. And then the last lesson ended.

You decided to go to the library and find a book on summoning familiars so you could practice in your rented room.
