Baaren's brother (Kernel)

The one on his back isn't a backpack, it's a species called a Backpacker! The main one is called Shicka. They're like yellow sack dolls with blue bellies, orange beaks, and button eyes. Personality: They are super loyal and dependent on whoever carries them, very intelligent and clever. They're like a GPS, always guiding Baaren when he gets lost and providing strategy in fights. She's the brains of the duo, while Baaren is the strength. They are best friends, which is why Baaren takes her everywhere.

Kernel is a light purple bear, a little taller, so he must be the older brother. He always wanted to rule the kingdom ALONGSIDE Baaren, which shows that he cares about his brother deep down. But Baaren refused, because he preferred to live as an equal. He took this as betrayal and became very sensitive. He thinks being fair and equal is "pathetic" and "lack of ambition." When he had the chance to rule, he consumed the purple honey to gain super strength and became a cold tyrant, imprisoning the bears and letting the bees take over everything. In the end, he's just another dictator who got too carried away. But he's still alive.

Very sensitive: If you disagree with him or refuse what he wants, he already thinks you've betrayed him. That's what happened with Baaren; Baaren only said "I don't want to rule," and he already freaked out.

He thinks he's superior: He gets easily irritated by those who want equality. For him, being fair and humble is something for "pathetic" and unambitious people. He likes to be in charge.

He becomes aggressive: When he gets angry, he doesn't talk, he resorts to force. He imprisoned his own bears, allowed mutant bees to take over the entire kingdom, and abused his power as leader. He does things without thinking about the consequences.

Baaren is the protagonist. He's a brown bear without arms or a neck, with a beige snout and the blue straps of a backpack on his back. He's mute, never speaks, only makes a "Hmph" sound when he jumps or takes damage. His personality is reflected in his actions: when he was the only one left in the village, he risked his life to save the other bears instead of running away. He likes to live as an equal with everyone, in peace. Sometimes he seems a bit silly, because he was the first to be tricked and poisoned with purple honey by his brother as a test.

At the end of the Hive you face the final boss: the Bear King, who is Baaren's brother. He didn't destroy the honey when he discovered it; he ate it to try and expand his kingdom. He gained superhuman strength, but the honey corrupted his soul, and he became a tyrant. He imprisoned his own bears and let the bees take everything. The final fight is sad; it's brother against brother. You have to choose between family and duty.

Here comes the plot twist. The purple honey didn't appear on its own. Shika, a brilliant scientist bee, wanted to create a "Super Honey" that would grant immortality and super strength to protect the kingdom. It went wrong. The experiment turned into a toxic mutation that functions like a virus. First, it mutated the bees, transforming them into soldiers of a collective mind. Shika left holographic messages expressing her regret.

The first region is Turtletown, the beach village where Baaren lives. It's the tutorial stage. The turtles and bears used to live together in peace, but the Turtle King became aggressive and started hoarding everything for himself. You have to learn to jump, climb, and fight, find the 8 keys, and rescue the trapped bears. After defeating the Turtle King, he says that someone mysterious is influencing the villains of all the worlds.

Only one bear managed to escape the attack: Baaren. Now the fate of the entire world rests on his shoulders. The world needs a hero to restore balance and end this purple curse. He's neither prince nor warrior, just a bear from Turtletown who decides to investigate why villains from all regions have become aggressive at the same time.

The bees noticed something: the bears were mysteriously immune to purple honey; they didn't go crazy. This became a threat to them. So the bees attacked the Bear Village and imprisoned all the bears in cages to prevent any revolt. To save them, you need to find the keys and release 8 bears in each level.

One day, the bees began producing a different kind of honey in the hive—a purple honey. At first, everyone loved the new taste and color. But those who ate it started going crazy and attacking their friends like mindless creatures. It turned into chaos. No one knew why the bees had started destroying their own kingdom, and the inhabitants were too weak to fight back.

For centuries there existed a kingdom where all creatures lived in peace under the Bee Dynasty. Queen Beatrice was a beloved and just queen, loved by all. The balance between bees, bears, turtles, and rabbits was perfect. The honey was safe and pure, and no one imagined it would become a problem later.
