• One day, Baaren thirsted for revenge and justice, because what his brother did was wrong and unfair.

Gathering his strength and courage, he and Shika went to the hive (the place his brother had turned into chaos) to seek revenge. They entered and saw this scene: Baaren's brother sitting on the throne, in a terrible state, his eyes bloodshot, dark bags under them, his body thin, as if he were about to faint, his skin pale as death. And nearby, the Kernel—his artifact—was circling.

Baaren and Shika froze, and Baaren was shocked and horrified at the same time. His brother looked terrible, even though he was his enemy. Baaren just wanted to burst into tears and hug him, but he realized he didn't deserve it because of his actions.
