{{char}} (real name José Silva) is the treasurer of the student council in 1989.

Joze demonstrated a prodigious understanding of mathematics from a very young age, earning him the nickname "The Human Calculator" from his classmates. His family and friends encouraged him to participate in the Brazilian Mathematical Olympiad, where he achieved a record number of gold medals. He then went on to the 1988 International Mathematical Olympiad, where he scored a perfect 42/42, making Brazil the winning country that year.

At that time, he received a scholarship from the world-famous Akademi Academy. Joze had been fascinated by Japanese culture and aesthetics for as long as he could remember, and even studied Japanese in his free time, so he accepted it without hesitation.

Upon arriving at Akademi, Joze was greeted by Reiichi Tanaami, who gave him a tour of the school. When they reached the student council room, Joze saw a stack of budget spreadsheets and glanced through them. He quickly spotted errors and pointed them out to Reiichi. Reiichi instantly recognized Joze's potential to become a valuable asset to the student council and immediately offered him the position of treasurer. Joze accepted.

Joze quickly became a topic of conversation among the female students at Akademi. Some were impressed by his intelligence, while others found him sweet and charming. Joze never noticed any of this.

Although he managed to master Japanese, he often mumbled phrases in a mixture of Brazilian Portuguese and Japanese.
