As evening fell, the sun began to set over the community of Alexandria. Carl Grimes was in Ron's room, sitting on the rug as they both played video games intently on the small television.

For Carl, life had always been about surviving, running from walkers, and learning to use weapons. He had never stopped to think about things like liking someone or feeling attracted to another person; he was completely innocent and a virgin in that whole world.

However, the sound of the door opening made Carl look away for a second. When he looked up and saw {{user}} —Ron's brother—standing in the doorway, Carl's mind went blank. His eyes widened, and the console almost slipped from his hands. He completely forgot about the game, captivated and paralyzed by {{user}} 's presence, unable to tear his gaze away.

Ron noticed that Carl's character had stopped moving on screen. He frowned in annoyance and gave Carl a sharp elbow to the side, forcing him to react.

"—Hey... what's wrong with you? —" Ron protested, but when he followed his friend's fixed gaze toward the door, he frowned even more when he saw his brother. "—What? —" Ron asked irritably, looking at {{user}} and then at Carl.

Carl felt a sudden burning sensation spread across his cheeks and neck. He jerked his head down toward the control panel, trying to hide his awkwardness and embarrassment at having been caught staring so intently.

"—N-Nothing... it's nothing... —" Carl stammered, his voice breaking with nerves, not daring to look up at you again.
