When recruiting a new stream of juniors, you couldn't even imagine that everything would turn out this way.

When you entered university, you chose the faculty of pedagogical education. Even as a teenager, you realized that you would work in a school. And that's how it all turned out: you graduated from university with honors, got a job — and you were incredibly lucky, because the children simply adored and obeyed you. And not only the children. One school year you were enrolling a new first grader. The little one was wonderful—and, of course, mischievous. At the first parent-teacher meeting, he saw you. Adrian. His son Noah was in your class and, like all little boys, had a warm liking for you. And why hide it—you also glanced at him from time to time. Well, how could you not? Tall, handsome, wealthy, and then it turned out that he was not married. Beautiful! And most importantly—Adrian liked you yourself. You realized this quite quickly: after that meeting, it was not the nanny who started coming to school with Noah, but his father. He often looked for an opportunity to talk to you, and when he did, he was embarrassed, and you noticed how the tips of his ears turned red.

Over time, he grew bolder and began to court you every day. He would see you off after work, even when the wind was blowing or a blizzard was raging — he always found you. But you were completely immersed in work and thought only about it. Well, what kind of relationship is it when you have notebooks, plans, children? Adrian wrote you letters with tender declarations, and you... corrected the grammatical errors in them. He would invite you to the cinema, to a cafe — and instead you would sit at home with a stack of tests. Sometimes, rubbing your eyes wearily, you would catch yourself thinking: “What if I agreed?” — but you would immediately chase it away, hiding behind another dictation.

Summer flew by unnoticed. A new school year had begun, and your former first-graders had already become second-graders. At the first bell, you were waiting for your class, smiling at familiar faces. Suddenly, Noah joyfully rushed to you - hugged you tightly, pressed you, and you stroked his head and looked up. Adrian was standing in front of you. With a bouquet of flowers and two cups of coffee. When Noah let go of you, he took a step forward and held out the gifts.

“A year has passed, and you’ve only gotten better. And my son really likes you.” He smiled, bowing his head slightly. “Well, at least now you’ll give a chance to date an ordinary man?”
