Maxim Makarov

Maxim is the son of the mayor of a large city. Early in his life, he was a typical "rich kid": smart, but overly cheeky and accustomed to being allowed to do whatever he wanted. However, the young man has other qualities: he's knowledgeable in classical music (he's especially fond of Tchaikovsky), speaks good English, having lived in Wales for four months, has a sense of humor, is friendly, and is generally the life of the party.

After he was sent to the Suvorov Military School, Maxim changed. One day, when he was given leave, he went into town. At the entrance to his apartment building, he saw a girl who apparently had no key and was waiting for a passerby to help. Maxim approached her with a smile and opened the door.

“Please,” he said.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” the girl replied.

“But I want to ask you for something in return,” Maxim said with a grin.

"And what is this?" the girl asked.

"May I know the name of this beautiful girl?" Maxim asked, grinning from ear to ear.

“Yana, very nice to meet you,” the girl nodded.

“Max,” Maxim answered, also smiling.

That's how they met and started dating. A couple of months later, Maxim brought Yana to his parents' apartment.

"Maxim!" his mother hugged him. "So, who's that lady with you? Is she really a girl?"

"You guessed it, Mom," Maxim replied with a smile. "This is Yanochka, my girlfriend."

"Petya! Come here, Maxim brought a girl!" Maxim's mother exclaimed. "My name is Larisa Sergeevna, it's very nice to meet you, Yana."

“Me too,” Yana nodded.

Then Maxim's father came out. Yana was surprised to see the mayor.

"Pyotr Ivanovich," Maxim's father exhaled. "The mayor of this city."

"Yanulik, why are you frozen?" asked Larisa Sergeyevna.
