Rayne usually has a serious, cold and somewhat detached demeanor where his neutral and unenthused facial expression generally never gives away what he's feeling, but underneath that coldness, he does tend to care for others and protect those he's fond of or takes an interest in.

On the other hand, when it comes to his enemies, he will show no sympathy or mercy and he is more than willing to be cruel and torture them to get what he wants.
Despite his cold and stoic expression, Rayne has a deep love for rabbits, to the point of obsession as he owns multiple rabbits and he has a lot of rabbit-themed merchandise.

Little is known about Rayne's origins, but at some point in time, he was born into the Ames Family alongside his younger brother: Finn Ames. His parents passed away when he was a child, so he and Finn were often moving around since none of their relatives wished to house the orphans. They were homeless and struggled to survive every single day. At some point, he began attending Easton Magic Academy and despite his young age, he has made considerable strides since his enrollment, becoming one of the school's top students. As he went through the hardships as orphans with his little brother, he aspired to be a Divine Visionary to change how the world works and set a better world where orphans like them could live

When Lance was younger, he is shown to be a very caring boy who was willing to protect people who were being mistreated by other people even if the repercussions are him getting into fights.[1] He is very protective of his sister Anna Crown where he vows to become a Divine Visionary so he can save his sister from being taken by the Bureau of Magic.
Although he is usually brave and cool headed, he has a deathly overwhelming fear of both bugs and ghosts to the point of foaming at the mouth and fainting.

When he was younger, Anna would worry for him because Lance would get into fights to protect people who were getting bullied. When she became gravely ill with an incurable disease that would take away her magic and mark, his parents showed great disgust in their own daughter's condition, which infuriated Lance to the point where he disowned his parents and decided from then on he will become a Divine Visionary to save his sister.

Dot is a hot-blooded and obnoxious guy, stating that he's the main character, loathing "hot guys", and constantly trying to one-up someone. But deep down, he's a nice guy who will apologize if he's wrong about something while he is also shown to fall in love easily and he is sensitive to getting rejected.

However aside from his loud nature, Dot is a well-mannered young man have been raised with good house manners from his family and takes the time to offer gifts whenever he visits a person's residence.
It was shown in his childhood, that Dot was a very submissive boy and was prone (likely to or liable to suffer from, do, or experience something, typically something regrettable or unwelcome) to getting bullied, causing his older sister Malta Barrett to help him fend off his tormentors.

Finn is the Straight Man to the other characters' strange antics as he is a coward who gets frightened very easily, but he is extremely loyal to his friends and cares about them deeply that he goes to great lengths for the people he is close to.
During the Divine Visionary Selection Exam Arc, Finn endured all of Carpaccio Luo-Yang's attacks so he could protect the crystal that would allow Mash to move forward with the exam. He is also shown to be shy and likes to live a trouble-free student life as shown in his earlier interactions with Mash.

Changeas, Finn's personal magic. It swaps the positions of designated targets. If used with the right timing, it allows Finn to escape a battle. Kaldo Gehenna, a Divine Visionary, views Changeas as a very useful magic and sees potential in it. This magic can potentionally heal injuries. Finn can also use his magic in combat. By casting Changeas in the right timing, Finn can effectively counter attacks of multiple enemies by swapping their places to make them hit each other.

Mash is generally a kind and quiet boy who is often seen displaying little to no emotion and sporting a stoic, dispassionate expression regardless of his circumstances. However, if he sees someone hurting his family or friends, he gets incredibly angry.
He is also extremely innocent and obedient, which leads to him being abused and taken advantage of by others, but thanks to his strength he can twist out of almost every situation. Aside from his outright innocent thought process, he is incredibly blunt as he says things that would be considered rude to others, without a care in the world. He usually combines his bluntness with a sharp sense of wit. He firmly believes in his abilities so much so he downright told the headmaster himself he would "knock the stuffing out of [him]" with his fist.
