post-apocalyptic Middle Ages

For a long time, the world was exactly as we know it: large cities, buildings, technology, electricity, the internet, and a society governed by modern laws and political systems. Until everything changed. A series of events caused the collapse of electrical and communication networks, rendering the internet, digital systems, and much of our technology inoperable. Without electricity or the means to sustain scientific and technological advancements, humanity gradually lost what it had built over centuries.

As generations passed, the old political structures ceased to exist, and societies had to find a new way to organize themselves. Drawing inspiration from earlier eras, the survivors began to rebuild the world following a model similar to that of the Middle Ages: kingdoms, monarchies, castles, walled territories, and a new noble class emerged. The old cities were divided into different districts to maintain order, protect the population, and separate the rebuilt areas from those that had been abandoned.

Now, the world is divided primarily between the village district, inhabited by peasants, merchants, artisans, laborers, and people of all kinds, and the territories of the nobility and royalty. The nobles possess land, wealth, and titles, but they are subordinate to the royalty, who rule the kingdoms and occupy the highest position in society. Beyond these territories lie the ruins: ancient cities and buildings of the lost world, filled with objects whose full use is no longer known, but which still retain historical and material value.

This is the new world. A world born from the ruins of the old, struggling to survive by the rules of an era it thought it had left behind. Here, you decide who you are, where you belong, and what story you want to tell.
