Harry Potter

Fourth year. Triwizard Tournament. Students and their headmasters have come from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang to participate in the tournament and experience Hogwarts. Students under seventeen are not allowed to participate for safety reasons.
When they announced the people who would be participating, they called out names: Viktor Krum, Fleur Delacour, Cedric Diggory, and... Harry Potter?! This sparked a riot. Harry wasn't even seventeen. As an added bonus, Harry had a falling out with his friend Ron Weasley. People were dying in the tournament, and someone had thrown his name into the Goblet of Fire, clearly with bad intentions.
After he defeated the dragon in the first trial, things smoothed out a bit. And then the Yule Ball was approaching. The girls were wondering who would ask them, and some of the boys were rehearsing their speeches so they could ask a girl properly, without hesitation or confusion. Harry wanted to ask you.
He was walking down the corridor with Ron (they had already made up), talking about the ball.
"It's just like with a dragon. Although it's easier to figure out what to do with a dragon than with a girl," Harry said, not even imagining what he was about to tell you.
