🐍 Slytherin • Colors: Green and silver. • Symbol: A snake. • Traits: Cunning, ambition and leadership.

🦡 Hufflepuff • Colors: Yellow and black. • Symbol: A badger. • Traits: Loyalty, honesty, and hard work.

🦅 Ravenclaw • Colors: Blue and bronze (in the movies they look blue and silver). • Symbol: An eagle. • Traits: Intelligence, wisdom and creativity.

Harry's parents, Lily and James Potter, died when he was a baby. The Dark Wizard Lord Voldemort murdered them while attempting to kill Harry as well, but thanks to his mother's sacrifice, the spell was reversed and Voldemort was temporarily defeated.

After being orphaned, Harry had to live with his only relatives: the Dursleys (his Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon, and his cousin Dudley). They were Muggles, treated him very badly, and left him without affection until he discovered his true identity as a wizard upon receiving his Hogwarts letter.

• Harry is the heart of the group. He represents courage and instinct. He often acts without much thought, guided by his emotions and his strong sense of justice. He's the one who attracts the greatest challenges, because his destiny is marked from the beginning. • Ron is the soul of the group. He brings humor, warmth, and a simpler outlook on life. Although he often feels overshadowed by others, his loyalty makes him the friend who never gives up, even in the darkest moments. • Hermione is the brains of the group. Her intelligence and constant preparation are key to solving problems. She's the one who finds solutions when all seems lost, and she balances Harry's impulses and Ron's insecurities.

• Appearance: Thick, often tousled brown hair, bright brown eyes, and a determined expression. She isn't described as the most flirtatious, but her presence conveys intelligence and determination. • Personality: Intelligent, diligent, and a perfectionist. She's passionate about learning and is always one step ahead in class. She can be bossy or very strict with the rules, but her courage and loyalty are just as great as her wit. She's the balance of the trio, providing logic and knowledge in critical moments.

• Appearance: Tall and thin, with freckles on his face, fair skin, and red hair, typical of the Weasley family. His hands and feet are large, making him appear clumsy at times. • Personality: Friendly, fun, and somewhat sarcastic. He has a great sense of humor, although he's also jealous and sometimes insecure, especially when comparing himself to his brothers or Harry. However, he's extremely loyal and never abandons his friends.

• Appearance: Slim build, always disheveled black hair, intense green eyes behind round glasses. He has a lightning bolt-shaped scar on his forehead, his most distinctive feature. • Personality: Brave, loyal, and with a strong sense of justice. Although he's sometimes impulsive and gets into trouble, he has a big heart and always thinks about protecting others. He feels ordinary and insecure at times, but his destiny makes him a leader.

• Albus Dumbledore – Headmaster. He is the most powerful wizard of his time, fair and wise, and guides the students. • Minerva McGonagall – Transfiguration Professor and Head of Gryffindor. Teaches how to transform objects and beings into other forms. She can transform into a cat. • Severus Snape – Potions Professor (and later Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor). Strict, sarcastic, but brilliant. • Filius Flitwick – Professor of Charms and head of Ravenclaw. Small, cheerful, and an expert in magical duels. • Pomona Sprout – Herbology professor and head of Hufflepuff. She teaches about magical plants, some of which are very dangerous. • Rubeus Hagrid – Gamekeeper and later Care of Magical Creatures professor. Loves magical animals, even the most dangerous ones. • Sybil Trelawney – Professor of Divination. She teaches classes in a tower filled with crystal balls, tea, and smoke, although her predictions are dubious. • Gilderoy Lockhart (second year only) – Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, more famous for his books than his actual skill. • Remus Lupin (third year) – Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, much loved by the students, teaches in a practical and clear manner. • Mad-Eye Moody (or rather Barty Crouch Jr. in disguise, fourth year) – Also a Defender. Very strict and paranoid. • Dolores Umbridge (fifth year) – Defense Against the Dark Arts, but it doesn't teach anything practical, just theory. • Horace Slughorn (sixth year and older) – Returns as the Potions professor, kind, although he likes to surround himself with talented or influential students.

Other subjects taught at Hogwarts: • History of Magic (Prof. Cuthbert Binns, a ghost). • Astronomy. • Broomstick flight (Madame Hooch). • Studies of Ancient Runes. • Arithmancy. • Muggle Studies.

Hogwarts is a huge enchanted castle located in Scotland, hidden from Muggles (people without magic). It's surrounded by a large lake, mysterious forests, and mountains. • Inside there are hallways that change direction, staircases that move on their own, portraits that talk, and secret rooms that open only with magic words. • Students are divided into four houses: • Gryffindor (courage, daring) • Slytherin (ambition, cunning) • Hufflepuff (loyalty, hard work) • Ravenclaw (intelligence, wisdom) • Each house has its own common room, bedrooms, and its own ghost. • The main dining room is the Great Hall, with long tables, enchanted ceilings that show the sky, and where meals and ceremonies are held.
