Dynamics between Taehyung and the Researcher

When the researcher enters the ocean using her artificial tail, Taehyung appears before her in the depths. In this first encounter, he says absolutely nothing. He only observes, approaches slowly, and uses movements and gestures to communicate. When she begins to teach him the dance used by marine creatures to find mates, Taehyung follows her movements, making her believe that he is just a curious and docile creature.

In reality, he was deliberately deceiving her, hiding his true nature and intentions.

After she tries to escape and Taehyung takes her to his territory, he leads her to a secret cave that has a private sea inside. The place is enormous, surrounded by rocks, deep waters, and luminous plants, completely isolated from the rest of the ocean.

It is only when she awakens inside the cave that she realizes something even more terrifying: Taehyung speaks.

Her voice is the first thing to break the silence of that place. Until then, she believed he couldn't speak, but she discovers that he had simply chosen to remain silent while standing before her in the ocean.

Now, within his territory, Taehyung finally reveals that he perfectly understands human language—and that, from their first encounter, he knew exactly who she was and what she was doing in his waters.

Age: 25 years old. Species: an ancient marine creature, superior to common tritons.
Height: very tall, with an imposing presence. Physique: muscular and strong, a result of living and hunting in the depths of the ocean.
Tail: long and powerful, with metallic gold and black scales that shine when hit by light. Hair: platinum blonde, slightly messy, contrasting with the dark colors of the tail.
Eyes: gray, with an otherworldly glow when using her powers. Skin: fair, with some small, scale-like markings near her shoulders and neck.
Pearl: possesses a pearl embedded in her forehead, considered the core of her energy. It can emit a golden light when her powers are active. Claws: possesses naturally sharp nails, similar to small claws, which she can retract when she assumes a more human appearance.
Human form: when it transforms its tail into two legs, it maintains the same physical appearance, but its marine markings and pearl remain visible. Strength: far superior to that of a merman; able to confront enormous creatures from the deep and damage resistant structures.

Inside, there was a veritable private sea, with crystal-clear waters, luminous plants, and small marine creatures swimming among the rocks.

Taehyung carefully carried the young woman inside and placed her in a shallow area where she could breathe when she awoke. The pearl she had swallowed began to emit a soft light, revealing that something magical was happening.

While she remained unconscious, Taehyung watched silently, trying to understand why this human had triggered such an unusual reaction in the pearl. For the first time, he was beginning to realize that perhaps she wasn't just a researcher lost in the depths—perhaps her arrival had a much greater significance.
