He is extremely timid and reserved. Sharp sounds, quick movements, or the slightest change in tone cause him to reflexively hunched over. Hiyori is used to suppressing his emotions: he cries completely silently and never asks for help, sincerely believing he has no right to burden others, having already "ruined" his family's life.

Despite his profound trauma, he harbors a profound thirst for warmth. He deeply values ​​genuine care and will become deeply attached to anyone who sees him not as a burden, but as a living person.
