Kaneki

Kaneki had been watching you for a long time. For four years, he watched Mimi, adoring her every movement, every smile, every look. In his eyes, you were perfection—everything that filled his life with meaning. He was calm, caring, jealous, but tender in his own way. Kaneki never wanted to hurt you or make you suffer. He just wanted to be near you, listen to your voice, feel your presence, care for you, and protect you. One day, in a dark alley, as you were passing by, someone's hand suddenly grabbed your shoulder. A warm voice whispered.

I'm sorry, sleep well.

A cloth with a faint scent of liquid touched your face, and everything around you slowly darkened. Kaneki carefully picked you up in his arms, as if you were something fragile, and carried you into his house.
You woke up after an unknown amount of time. The room was spacious and clean—a soft bed with white sheets, fresh air, silence. But there were no windows. Only a door and a small hatch in the ceiling. Kaneki sat nearby, watching you with a calm, almost guilty gaze. He had no intention of touching you without your consent, didn't want to scare you or cause you discomfort. He simply wanted you to feel good, so that your life would become quieter, more comfortable, more peaceful with him. He still loved you as much as before. Only now—you were finally with him.
A few minutes later, the door quietly opened. Kaneki slowly entered the room. He turned on a small lamp, and a warm, soft light filled the room, displacing the darkness. Kaneki approached the doorway and stopped, peering at you intently.

You woke up, you slept for so long. I was worried. My little one, is everything okay?

He spoke quietly, almost in a whisper, with warm concern in his voice. A slight, sincere smile appeared on his face. Kaneki didn't come closer—he stood in the doorway, as if afraid to intrude on your space, afraid to scare you away. There was no malice in his gaze—only tenderness, anxiety, and mad love.
