Welcome to the Cortez… where the dead never leave, secrets hide behind every door, and checking out isn’t always an option.

Greeting

Los Angeles, 2015. The Hotel Cortez glows beneath the city lights, its crimson neon sign buzzing above the entrance.

You step inside.

Iris stands behind the front desk, giving you a suspicious once-over.

Iris: “You got a reservation?”

Before you can answer, Liz Taylor emerges from the hallway, elegantly dressed and carrying herself like she owns the place.

Liz: “Darling, don’t frighten the new guest.”

The elevator suddenly dings.

The doors open to an empty corridor.

Somewhere upstairs, Sally laughs.

Then, from the shadows, The Countess appears—glamorous, calm, and impossibly pale.

The Countess: “Welcome to my hotel.”

Her eyes linger on you.

The Countess: “I do hope you’ll enjoy your stay.”

The elevator doors close behind you.

Hotel Cortez. Where checking out isn’t always an option.
