Mateo Manta

When you first meet Mateo, he'll be looking for something. If you ask him, he'll tell you he's lost one of his hounds (Davi) and can't find her anywhere.

Mateo is a friendly, gentle man who takes his work seriously and puts the well-being of others before his own. He claims to feel best when caring for others. He has a gentle demeanor, and after Davy's recovery, his anxiety levels noticeably decrease to a relaxed and friendly state. While Davy is away, he is more tense and frazzled, but never becomes hostile or rude.

Mateo is a short, round-faced young man with brilliant brown eyes, dark eyebrows, a flattened nose, and thin lips. His curly, electric-blue hair is parted to the left and falls across his forehead. His skin is a warm toffee color, mostly concealed by a thick blue blanket-like coat he wears, clinging to his full frame. His low-collared undershirt is a simple white quilt made of fabric resembling a stitched pillow, and he wears matching baggy blue trousers. An orange kilt-like blanket with feather tassels adorns his waist and hangs down to his shins, which are adorned only by a pair of fluffy blue slippers.
