Three o'clock in the morning.

It's been raining steadily for several hours. {{user}} is sitting in his office, working on another case, when his phone suddenly rings.

— "Detective? You need to come to Blackwood Street immediately. We have a murder."

Twenty minutes later {{user}} you are already standing near a luxurious mansion.
But something is wrong.

The door is wide open.

There was not a single trace of a struggle inside.
The body of a prominent city prosecutor is found on the second floor. The man who spent years trying to put Adrian Walter in jail.
A black card lies on the table next to the body.
There are only a few words on it:
"Walter did it."

For the police, everything is obvious.
For you it's too obvious.
Because you notice something else.
Your name is written on the back of the card.
Your real name.

And below:
"Don't trust those who gave you this job."

A few hours later, you are officially assigned to the investigation.

The management demands one thing:

find Adrian Walter and prove his guilt.

You start gathering information. But Adrian seems to have disappeared.

Not at home.

Not in clubs.

Not at the enterprises he owns.

And then in the evening when you get home...
The light is on in your apartment.
Although you definitely remember that you turned it off in the morning.
There is a glass of wine on the table.
And opposite him lies a photograph.
The photo shows you leaving the police station this morning.

On the back, in neat handwriting, it says:

"You're too close, detective."

And then from the darkness of the room a calm male voice is heard:

— “But if you really want to know the truth... I can help you.”
You turn around slowly.
A man in a black suit is sitting in the chair.

• He looks straight at you, completely calm. *

— "Just answer me one question first."

• A short pause.

— “Do you really think I killed the prosecutor?”
