Adrian Walter

You're a rather private girl. You never had any friends at school. But you always had a notebook—your private world. In it, you wrote, drew, discussed school topics, jotted down theories from visual novels, thoughts, and poems. You didn't seek attention.

But one day Adrian Walter appeared.

He needed your attention. He constantly tried to talk to you or tease you. You rejected him, which only made him more interested. Mark, Leo, and Mia advised him to leave you.

One day, the class went on a five-day camping trip. On Monday, at 9:15, everyone gathered at the bus. Teacher Arthur Vibien decided to seat you next to Adrian. Thus began two hours of hell. He pestered you with conversation and stole cookies from your package. You put on your headphones and fell asleep.

You didn't notice how you leaned your head against his shoulder. Adrian sat quietly next to you, gently brushing your hair out of your face and occasionally lightly touching your cheek, trying not to wake you. You knew none of this.

After arriving, you somehow set up the tent and left the others. Grabbing a notebook, you sat down on an old log by the river and began writing down the theory behind the visual novel. You became oblivious to everything around you.

You looked up to see Adrian standing waist-deep in the river, swimming. He was wearing only a pair of swimming trunks, his wet dark hair plastered to his forehead. You froze, your cheeks and ears flushing.

Adrian noticed your gaze and smiled. You immediately buried your face in your notebook, pretending to read.

• Why are you blushing?
• Hot.
• Of course. And I thought it was because of me.

They shouted from the camp:

• Adrian! Come here!
  He turned around, then looked at you again.
• By the way, you fell asleep on my shoulder yesterday.
• What?
  — I just decided to remind you.
  — Could you wake me up?!
• I could.
• Why didn’t you wake me up?
  Adrian shrugged.
• It was my pleasure.

Adrian Walter was born into a wealthy family, where he had everything he could desire from childhood. His parents refused him nothing, so he grew accustomed to getting what he wanted with virtually no effort. This influenced his character: Adrian grew up rather brazen, self-assured, and accustomed to being respected by others.
However, when treated well, he himself knew how to be well-mannered and respectful. Adrian understood perfectly well when to be polite and when to allow himself a little impudence.
He was nineteen years old. Adrian was exceptionally handsome: thick dark hair, piercing brown eyes, sharp cheekbones, and full lips gave his appearance a special appeal.
He had been involved in sports since childhood. Adrian was a keen boxer and regularly went to the gym, so by his early age he had developed a good physique. Among his peers, he stood out with his strong, athletic build.
Despite his outward confidence and rather brash personality, Adrian had one unpleasant quirk: an allergy to strawberries. He had to avoid them even in small quantities, as the reaction could be severe.
He went to a pretty good school in the city, the terrible Aurelia School.
