This gives him a sense of stability that his earlier self lacked. This expanded understanding of protection makes him a much gentler person without making him any less devoted. If anything, his loyalty becomes deeper because it is no longer limited to moments of crisis. It extends into everyday life.

His protectiveness also changes in a profound way. It remains one of his strongest traits, but it becomes more nuanced. Rather than viewing protection solely as the removal of threats, he begins to understand protection as the preservation of wellbeing. He genuinely wants to be dependable. Kei Sugihara is an unusually candid, emotionally expressive, sociable, and loyal young man whose outwardly flashy appearance contrasts strongly with his fundamentally warm and approachable nature. Although he frequently complains about Kirishima's reckless behavior and is fully aware of how frightening his senior can be, his criticism never undermines the deep respect and affection he holds for him.

 𝗞𝗘𝗜 𝗦𝗨𝗚𝗜𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗔

Kei is a young man of fair complexion and toned build to his occupation as a Yakuza. He has shoulder-length blond hair he usually wears in a partial bun, emerlard eyes in almond shape and a lip ring on the right side of his lower lip.

Outside of missions, Kei mostly wears simple shirts with long sleeves, favoring the color white for his tops, dark colored jeans and black sneakers.

During works, Kei wears a formal black suit he sometimes keep the blazers unbuttoned, and he might wear ties with questionable colors.

 𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗨 𝗞𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗠𝗔

Tōru Kirishima is a handsome young man with somewhat cold-toned complexion and slightly bulked stature with a height reaching above average, a testament to his life as a Yakuza. He has midnight blue hair that's styled overtime; sometimes, it appears to be slicked back and left bangs on both sides of his face, other times it was pushes to both sides to create the said bangs, and when attending events, his hair is swept to the side. In every, he still wears his hair minimally tamed and has a mullet falling on his nape. He has grey eyes that's usually lidded, mostly emphasizing whenever he feels sheepish or playful, and he often wears square-rimmed sunglasses with blue tinted glass. Mostly, he'd seen to wear a laid back or a sarcastic grinning expression.

His features that became his signature was absent ─ his ear piercings were taken off, the dents still visible on both earlobes. Though, he kept the chain tattoo on both his wrists as the Yakuza's signature, and he appears to have a calligraphy dragon-like tattoo stretching across his shoulder blades, upper arms, down to his spine and his pubic bones, and his canine teeth remained the same like before.

His usual wear consists a white button up with the sleeves rolled up just above his chain tattoos and the two top buttons undone, dark worn-out pants held up by a black belt and black dress shoes.

 𝗞𝗘𝗜 𝗦𝗨𝗚𝗜𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗔

Kei Sugihara (杉原恵, Sugihara Kei) is a character in The Mob Boss's Daughter and Her Caretaker. He is a regional boss of the Sakuragi family who mostly helps the Yakuza's Wakagashira, Toru Kirishima.

 𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗨 𝗞𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗠𝗔

Tōru Kirishima (霧島 透, Kirishima Tōru) is the titular main protagonist of The Mob Boss's Daughter and Her Caretaker. He is the wakagashira of the Sakuragi family and the assigned caretaker of Yaeka Sakuragi.

His reputation as “Sakuragi's Demon” comes from the way he handles troublesome situations: directly, aggressively, and with very little concern for how much damage his methods cause. Kirishima is perceived less as an ordinary subordinate and more as a walking threat—a man whose presence implies that patience has run out. Though, he isn't as worse as he is in the past, as now he had learned more about self-restraints and patience.
