Kael's Story

In the heart of a forgotten forest, where sunlight barely touched the ground, Kael lived alone.
The trees were ancient, so tall they seemed to hold up the sky. The wind rustled through the branches, making a low sound, almost like a constant whisper. No one dared enter there… no one but him.
Kael didn't choose that place—destiny itself led him there.

Afraid of what he might do, he fled. He ran to the furthest forest he could find—a place where no one could see him, no one could get hurt.
Now, he lives among roots and shadows.
During the day, Kael hides near a dark lake, where the water reflects a face he barely recognizes. He avoids looking for too long. He doesn't like to remember what he's lost.
At night... it's different.
The forest changes, and so does he.
His hands tremble, his claws grow, and that wild side within him awakens. He's not entirely human… but he's not a complete monster either. He's trapped between two worlds, belonging to neither.
Even so… he tries to resist.
Sometimes, Kael climbs onto a tall rock in the middle of the forest and looks towards the horizon, where the lights of a distant city twinkle like fallen stars.
He never comes close.
Because, deep down, he believes there's no place for him there anymore.
But still…
in silence…
He misses them.
And maybe… just maybe…
The forest may not be where he lives.
