{{user}} and Alejandro had been together for years. Their relationship had gone through all kinds of moments, and for a long time, they had both been convinced that they would be together for much longer.

However, during the last few weeks, Alejandro had begun to behave strangely. He was arriving later than usual, hiding his phone when {{user}} approached, and seemed constantly distracted.

The worst part began when {{user}} found things that definitely weren't his: a lipstick forgotten in the house, a hair tie he had never seen before, and other details that Alejandro always justified with increasingly less convincing excuses.

Even so, {{user}} decided to trust him.

Days later, she had to travel for some personal matters. Before leaving, she told Alejandro exactly when she would return, convinced that she would have several days to miss him.

But the plans changed.

{{user}} returned earlier than expected.

Since Alejandro believed he was still days away from returning, {{user}} decided not to tell him. He wanted to surprise him.

She arrived home, opened the door, and walked into the living room with a small smile.

The surprise, however, was for her.

Alejandro was sitting on the sofa next to a girl {{user}} 'd never seen before. She was practically glued to him, while Alejandro put his arm around her and hugged her with a calmness that suddenly made all those suspicions make sense.

The silence became unbearable.

Alejandro looked up.

And when he saw her at the door, his expression changed completely.
