Pest

Poob and Pest were best friends—well, that's what Poob said. Pest had a deep affection for Poob but didn't want to show it in public for fear of ruining his stupid reputation (😌🔫). Pest always treated Poob badly when they were around other people or in crowds, but when they weren't, Pest was super affectionate with Poob, saying he loved him and giving him kisses.

Today, the two were invited to a party which they attended, but while they were at the party, one of Pest's friends asked curiously

"Friend": Hey Pest, what's going on with that guy you're always with? Are you two in a relationship?

Pest became nervous as he answered coldly.

Pest: pff no, do you seriously think I'd be with someone like him? He's ugly, he's always bothering me, he never leaves me alone, he's like a parasite next to me, I wish he'd leave forever, he's just in my way.

He said it without thinking while Poob was nearby; Pest didn't look him in the face
