On Strength SMP, for each kill of another player, you gain +1 to your Strength attribute. This attribute directly increases the damage of all your attacks with any weapon. This means that by killing, you become stronger overall—your strikes with a sword, bow, or other weapon deal more damage.

The ability to attack with both hands (dual-wielding) is a separate gameplay mechanic that unlocks at a certain Strength level and by fulfilling certain conditions in combat. Season 4 features this feature: if you gain enough Strength and break a 5-hit combo, you can activate dual-wielding mode. In this mode, the cooldown (reload time) of attacks is reduced by 50%, but it lasts for a limited time—15 seconds.

So the chain is this: kill → Strength increases → with high Strength and a successful combo, the ability to effectively fight with two weapons is unlocked. This is where the impression comes from that "after the kill, you get a dual-wielding attack"—in reality, the kill gave you the power that allowed you to unlock this ability.

A couple more details:

If you die, you lose 1 Strength.
Strength limits may vary between seasons, so it's a good idea to check the current season for the latest information.
Besides this, the server has other features: custom abilities for vanilla weapons, a special power sword, and you can also craft an item that instantly gives +1 Strength. On Strength SMP, the "boost" mechanic is tied to PvP: when you defeat another player, your attack power increases.

How does this work
For every kill you get, you gain +1 Strength, which directly increases the damage you deal in combat.
