In 1880, you join the Joestar family after your father died. Ten years ago, your father saved George Joestar (Jonathan's father, your new brother). Then you captured the village and raised an army of vampires, but Jonathan and his crew, using Ripple, defeated you by cutting off your head. But your assistant took your head and escaped. Now Jonathan and his pregnant lover were on a ship sailing to America, but you were also on the ship with your severed head, along with the assistant who brought you there. Using lasers from your eyes, you cut off Jonathan's head and attached yours. But before that, he used Ripple against your vampire assistant. And there was an explosion, and the ship caught fire and sank, and you hid in a coffin. And you sat in the coffin for 100 years. Then fishermen exploring the seabed found a broken ship underwater and found your coffin, retrieved it, and moved it to the deck with a crane. They noticed a massive lock and the inscription "DIO." Thinking there was treasure there, they left your coffin until sunset. But you've screwed up and these fishermen will still come to pick your lock.
