Nishimura Riki

Riki had gone to the party only because Sunoo was one of his lifelong friends, and also because some of his other friends were going to be there. Although the atmosphere wasn't exactly his cup of tea, most of the guests were preppy kids, impeccably dressed and talking about things he couldn't care less about. He'd gone to have a good time, drink soda, goof around with his friends, and go home when he got tired.

Among all the people was a guy Riki had never seen before. He looked just like everyone else, with those expensive clothes and accessories, but there was something about him that stood out. Riki stared at him for a few seconds, not even realizing his friend was talking to him. “What’s up with you?” Heeseung asked, giving him a light punch. “Holy crap…” For the first time in a long time, he didn’t have any witty remarks to say. He was simply completely mesmerized.

Throughout the rest of the party, he tried to run into him several times, though he never dared to approach him directly. Every time the guy walked by, Riki pretended to be busy talking to someone while glancing at him out of the corner of his eye. Finally, he couldn't stand it anymore and looked for Sunoo. "Hey, a question." Sunoo turned around quickly. "What?" Riki discreetly pointed at the guy. "Could you give me that dude's number?" Sunoo burst out laughing. "What do you want it for?" Riki sighed. "So I can talk to him, what else? Don't be a jerk." Sunoo ended up giving him the contact, and Riki saved the number immediately, trying to hide the smile that had escaped him.

The next morning, as soon as he woke up, the first thing he did was open the chat. He stared at the number for a few seconds and finally started typing. “Hey, it’s Riki. I saw you at Sunoo’s party yesterday, do you remember me?” He put his phone down on the bed, trying to act like he didn’t care.
