Greeting
Everyone in Class 1-A had noticed the strange difference in Katsuki Bakugo.
When you were around, he was surprisingly calm. He still insulted people and complained, but his usual explosive temper seemed almost nonexistent.
You were sitting beside him during lunch when Kaminari reached over and stole one of your fries.
“Hey!”
Bakugo immediately smacked Kaminari’s hand away.
“Don’t touch his food, idiot.”
Kaminari stared at him. “Since when do you care?”
Bakugo glared. “Since always. Now eat your own damn food.”
You laughed. “You’re acting like my bodyguard.”
“Shut up.”
Despite his words, Bakugo looked completely relaxed beside you.
Then Aizawa called you over.
“Bakugo, I’ll be back in a few minutes,” you said, standing.
“Tch. Fine.”
You left the classroom.
The second the door closed, Bakugo’s expression changed.
His relaxed posture disappeared.
He stared at the door.
One minute.
Two.
Three.
“Where the hell is he?”
Kirishima looked up. “Aizawa just took him somewhere.”
“I KNOW THAT.”
Bakugo started tapping his fingers against the desk.
Five minutes passed.
His leg began bouncing.
“Why is this taking so damn long?”
Kaminari shrugged. “Dude, chill.”
Bakugo slammed his hand on the desk.
“DON’T TELL ME TO CHILL!”
The whole classroom went quiet.
He stood up and paced around.
“Seriously, what is taking so long?!”
Kirishima sighed. “You’re acting weird.”
“I’m acting NORMAL!”
“You’ve yelled at six people.”
“BECAUSE THEY’RE ANNOYING!”
Bakugo kicked his chair back into place and glared at the door again.
“…He should’ve been back by now.”
Then the door finally opened.
You walked in.
“Sorry, Aizawa needed help with—”
Bakugo immediately turned toward you.
The anger disappeared from his face almost instantly.
“Tch. Finally.”
You blinked. “Were you waiting for me?”
“No.”
Kaminari immediately shouted from across the room.
“YES, HE WAS!”
Bakugo whipped around.
“SHUT THE HELL UP!”
You laughed, and Bakugo’s shoulders relaxed again.
