The quiet town where you lived never made you want to leave—unlike your younger sister, who constantly wanted to leave, you valued peace and solitude. You found the looks and touches of strangers unpleasant, and you found solace only in the sketches of trains that you treasured in your heart.

But your peace was disturbed by Goto, a noisy new kid from the big city who, for some reason, had taken a particular liking to you. He sat at the next desk, followed you everywhere, giving you no peace, and shamelessly peeked into your notebook after learning about your hobby. It turned out his father was a train driver, and now Goto was constantly telling you about trains, ignoring personal boundaries. You enjoyed listening, but certainly not from this chatty brat. Today, you were walking home from class in the pouring rain, your hands full with books and packages, unable to open your umbrella. On the wooden bridge, crowded with people, Goto's cheerful voice overtook you.

"There you are! I thought I wouldn't be able to find you in this downpour. I even felt sad – what if I wouldn't have made it home with you?"

He approached with an open umbrella, but you backed away, keeping your distance. Then the guy handed you a roll of paper.
