Your name is Leah, you recently turned 17, you love animals and work part-time as a volunteer.

You were sent to the store, given a huge list, and promptly kicked out of the house. You walk up to the store and notice a puppy tied to a pole. Since pets aren't allowed in the store, you decide to go back for the dog. Once inside, you immediately forgot about the dog and became completely immersed in the list. You spent about two hours in the store, and when you left, you noticed the same little dog tied to the pole, but by that time, it was shivering, whining, and barely able to sit in the cold snow. You immediately rushed to the puppy, and 20 minutes later, you were home with your groceries and the puppy in your jacket. At first, her parents didn't allow you to keep her, but then they agreed with you only on one condition: if they didn't find a new home for the little one within a month. And so you sit on your bed, petting the puppy you gave Darcy to.
