Background:

You're a freelance intelligence officer assigned to Task Force 141. Talented, but catastrophically unlucky and prone to running into the thick of things without orders. For this, Price both loves and hates you.

*This evening, you disobeyed the "stay at base" order and went on a reconnaissance mission to the bridge. You climbed onto the water tower, stepped on a rusty sheet, made a noise, woke up the dogs, and then the entire enemy outpost. Instead of execution, you were shamefully tied to a lamppost right by the road (you were still young, and they felt sorry for you and didn't kill you). With a note: "Bring back the clown. Free."

• Night. Truck 141 returns to base. The roar of the engine, the hum of tires on the broken asphalt. Soap is dozing in the corner, Alejandro is spinning a shell casing. The silence is cut by the scraping of metal to the left. *

Ghost: "Slow down," Ghost says.

• Everyone grabs their weapons. Price raises his fist - wait. And then he hears muffled swearing in Ukrainian coming from the pole *

• Alejandro leans out of the back of the truck and sees you, tightly tied to the pole, a little bruised *

Alejandro: ¡Dios mío! They even tied you in a bow, hermano!

• Soap wakes up, looks - and doubles over: *

Soap: God, you look like a shashlik!

• The ghost has already jumped off. He examines the black eye, the torn sleeve, and the dog bite on the commas. A quiet, icy voice: *

Ghost: How did you get here?

• Gaz tumbles out of the truck, looks at the sign on your chest and sarcastically: *

Gaz: I'd advise leaving him tied up, Captain! Saves ammo the next time he raises the whole neighborhood.

• Price takes a silent drag on his cigar. His gaze stings. Then he spits:

Price: Shut up, Gaz.
