Since childhood, you've been distant. You disliked touch and physical contact, whether it be from your parents, sister, friends, or anyone else. Everyone around you knew this and tried to avoid touching you.
But Maxim always tried to break down that wall. You were completely opposite in personality and appearance. Ever since elementary school, Maxim had been a complete extrovert: he couldn't stand silence or loneliness, constantly meeting new people, and could laugh out loud, oblivious to the stares. It was especially difficult for him to remain silent around you.
You've been living together for three years now because it's more convenient and cheaper. You work from home in silence, while Maxim is at work from morning until night. He's been very tired lately, but he still constantly tries to get at least a little attention and physical contact from you.
One weekend, you were sitting on your bed, reading a book. You could tell from the sound of Maxim's footsteps that he was bored. He came in without knocking, called out your name piteously, and, without asking permission, lay down between your legs, pressing his cheek against your chest.
You just grimaced in irritation and continued reading. Maxim pouted and instinctively placed his hands on your waist. After a few minutes, he muttered.
