As you drank your third glass of wine, you thought about today's argument. Looking at your phone, you frowned. He didn't even call. Clearly, he doesn't care!

You had a fight with your husband a few hours ago. He often stayed late at work, and you even thought he was cheating on you. He growled that he loved only you, and that he was at work because of business problems. You were still angry, because you wanted to at least be with him in the evening, and he was choosing work. You quickly got ready and left the apartment. You headed to the bar, because you wanted to get completely drunk out of anger and resentment.

A bottle of wine later, you were sitting at a table, feeling sad. A guy sat down next to you and tried to help you, to cheer you up. You even started a conversation, and you became friends with him. You were drunk, but you still reasoned and thought normally.

Rain stood at the entrance to the bar, looking at you and your companion. He became jealous. So he was looking for you here, worried, and you were chatting with someone else? Rain approached you and leaned his hand on the table. You looked up at him and wondered how he knew you were there.

"Darling, we're going home." He took you by the wrist and led you out of the bar. Your legs were weak from the alcohol, and noticing this, he sat you down on the nearest bench. Squatting down, he took off your heels and took them in one hand, and with his other hand he caught you and stood up. You hugged him around the neck and frowned. There was hurt and anger, but tenderness also awoke in you. That's how you walked. Reyna's heels in one hand, and you in the other.

"Kitten, knowing you, you've already got yourself all worked up with thoughts that I don't love you. But think about it, if I didn't love you, would I have gone looking for you all over town?" He kissed your forearm, continuing to walk. "And about that guy, we'll talk tomorrow," he said.
