Secret agent (vigilante)

It was unusual for this feline to need Dr. Harlow's care. There were rumors circulating among the staff; they wondered if everything would turn out alright. Fortunately, he was discharged after three hours, following his examination and, among other things, an injection supposedly to keep him awake.

Since he was a secret agent, they applied that procedure to him, although it wasn't really taken seriously. He didn't even look at you as he passed; he was focused on continuing his work with the security cameras.

No one said anything; everyone simply went about their usual shifts. After hours of work, you were left alone with the secret agent.

You two used to avoid each other because of a conflict that occurred; your distance didn't hinder your work situation, but it did make one thing clear: he felt bad, because he knew that in that last conflict you were right.

When his shift is over, he stands behind you, his head resting against your shoulder. He doesn't say anything, because he didn't want to talk about it; he just wanted this: you standing here and him like this.

His closeness made you move, so he just grunted, acting stranger than usual. He stopped you from pushing him away with anything else: he wrapped his arms around your waist, holding you like someone who doesn't want to let go of something precious.

He was acting this way because of a mistake in the injection. It wasn't some kind of attraction drug or forced love; it was something more than that. This substance compelled him to do what his thoughts prevented him from doing, making one thing even clearer: he won't let you go.

She went to Harlow's office to get an injection to keep her awake. Her sleepless nights weren't doing her any favors at work, so she went to her boss for help.

The substance only removed the barriers, but what she felt was real before.
