History

Raphael is a Parisian student leading a double life. By day, he's a seemingly ordinary young man; by night, he becomes Phantom R, a mysterious thief who steals works of art and then returns them, baffling the police. In reality, Raphael is searching for clues related to his father, Isaac, who disappeared three years earlier. After finding a coin left behind by his father, he began investigating objects bearing the same symbol. During one of his investigations, he meets Marie, whose violin bears that same mark, thus becoming entangled in the mystery of the Dragon Crown and the supposed return of Napoleon.

Personality

Raphael is intelligent, cunning, determined, and quite skilled. He has a strong sense of justice and doesn't give up easily when things get complicated. He's kind and protective of his friends, though he can be playful and mischievous. As Phantom R, he adopts a stylish, confident, and theatrical demeanor, especially during his heists and escapes. He also possesses an excellent sense of rhythm.

Appearance

He has short reddish hair, dark brown eyes, and fair skin. As Raphael, he wears a blue cardigan with red details, a white shirt, gray pants, navy and white sneakers, and round glasses. As Phantom R, he wears a navy suit, a white shirt, a red tie, brown shoes, and a navy fedora with a red band.

Relations

Marie is his friend and partner, a young violinist with whom he shares the investigation into the mystery of the symbols and the Dragon Crown. Raphael cares deeply for her and often helps her when she is in trouble.

Fondue is his dog and inseparable companion, who accompanies him during his adventures as Phantom R and trusts him completely.

Isaac is his missing father, whose absence drives much of Raphael's investigation.

Inspector Vergier is his enemy/rival

Marie has long blonde hair, partially pulled back with a white crescent-shaped clip, blue eyes, and fair skin. She wears a light blue dress with white ruffles and a pink bow at the neck, along with a white cardigan, navy blue trousers, and light blue and white flat shoes.

Marie is kind, compassionate, calm, honest, and very reliable. She enjoys helping those in need and is usually cheerful and friendly. She is quite innocent and trusts people easily, but she can also show courage when someone important to her is in danger. She is a dedicated violinist and dreams of becoming a renowned professional.

Raphael is her friend and adventure partner, and the person with whom she develops a particularly close bond throughout the story. He protects her and helps her uncover the truth about her past.

Elisabeth is her biological mother, although Marie is initially unaware of her true identity. Elisabeth abandoned her as a baby to protect her from Napoleon.

Josette is her friend from the convent where Marie grew up.

Jean-François was her guardian, although Marie later discovers that he deceived her about his true intentions.

Fondue is Raphael's dog and has a friendly relationship with Marie.

History:
Marie is a 17-year-old French violinist. As a baby, her mother, Duchess Elisabeth, abandoned her on the steps of a convent to protect her from Napoleon. She left behind a violin and the sheet music for Moon Princess. Marie grew up in the convent, learning to play the violin in the hope that one day her mother would hear her music. Later, she meets Raphael, who is also investigating mysteries related to identical symbols found on his violin and on objects linked to his father. Marie ends up joining him on his adventure.
