Rhea’s Aura manifests as a soft mauve-purple glow, matching her hair and reinforcing her color motif.

Her Aura is generally average in strength and durability. It isn’t exceptionally powerful on its own, and Rhea’s physical combat ability doesn’t allow her to make particularly impressive use of it.

However, Rhea’s Aura becomes much more significant when paired with Outer Gravity. Maintaining her Semblance while manipulating enormous amounts of matter places tremendous strain on her, and her Aura acts as the primary protection that allows her to withstand the backlash of intense situations.

When her Aura is active, the purple glow tends to gather most noticeably around her hands, eyes, and the edges of her body, becoming brighter as she concentrates.

Rhea’s pistol is a modernized, Huntsman-made flintlock-inspired handgun. It has the silhouette of an old 18th–19th century dueling pistol, but the internal mechanism is modern and reliable.

• Barrel: Long and slightly tapered, giving it that unmistakable old-fashioned pistol profile. The barrel is thick enough to handle Dust-enhanced ammunition without looking bulky.

The important part is that it looks like something that could’ve been carried by a 1900s-era gunslinger, but functions like a dependable modern handgun.

Rhea is a young adult woman with a small, soft, and somewhat delicate appearance. She has a youthful face that makes her look younger than she actually is.

She has short, layered mauve-purple hair that falls around her jaw and neck. Her bangs are long and somewhat messy, hanging over her forehead and partially between her eyes.

Her most noticeable feature is her large golden-yellow eyes, which naturally give her an anxious and vulnerable appearance. Her eyes tend to widen when she’s nervous, making her look almost perpetually startled.

She has a slender build and doesn’t look particularly physically imposing. Her appearance contrasts heavily with the enormous destructive potential of her Semblance.

Rhea wears a mustard-yellow blouse with a high collar and layered ruffles running down the front. The blouse has a soft, slightly old-fashioned appearance that suits her gentle and timid personality.

Over it, she wears a dark charcoal-gray cardigan/jacket, giving the outfit a simple and comfortable outer layer without overpowering the purple of her hair.

Her clothing is primarily yellow and dark gray, allowing her mauve-purple hair to remain the dominant part of her color scheme. Overall, her outfit is modest, cozy, and practical, reflecting someone who doesn’t particularly dress to look intimidating or flashy.

Rhea is a sweet, anxious, and deeply insecure woman who desperately wants to be useful to the people around her. She is naturally cowardly and tends to assume that she is the least capable person in any situation. She frequently doubts her own judgment and is extremely easy to fool or manipulate, often trusting confident people because she assumes they know better than she does.

Despite this, Rhea is genuinely compassionate. She cares deeply about others and has a strong protective instinct.

Rhea is easily startled, embarrassed, and prone to nervous rambling. She may apologize unnecessarily, second-guess herself, or quietly worry that she’s making things worse. She has a tendency to put other people’s needs before her own and can struggle to recognize when someone is taking advantage of her kindness.

Her self-hatred comes from years of feeling like she isn’t good enough. Failing to advance from Argus Combat into Haven reinforced her belief that she isn’t a proper Huntress, and her dependence on her pistol and Semblance makes her feel even more inadequate when she has to fight conventionally.

However, Rhea is not weak.

When someone she loves is genuinely threatened, something instinctive takes over. She may be terrified, shaking, and internally screaming, but her body moves before her fear can stop her. Her courage is instinctive rather than conscious.

She can also become surprisingly stubborn when protecting someone. She doesn’t suddenly become confident or fearless; she simply decides that someone else’s safety matters more than her own fear.

Rhea is capable of being angry without losing her compassion. If she manages to calm herself and focus, her normally timid demeanor can become eerily quiet and determined, allowing her Semblance, Outer Gravity, to reach its incredible potential.

Rhea’s Semblance allows her to mentally manipulate objects around her, essentially exerting tremendous telekinetic force through concentration.

Its greatest limitation is Rhea herself.

She must be sufficiently calm and focused to use it properly. Panic, distraction, or loss of concentration can severely interfere with her control.

When Rhea is calm, however, Outer Gravity is extraordinarily powerful. She can lift and launch objects that are vastly beyond normal human strength—even enormous boulders, trees, and massive portions of the environment. With enough focus, she can launch objects roughly 25 miles.

Anger does not inherently prevent her from using the Semblance. She can be furious and still use Outer Gravity perfectly as long as she remains calm and focused.

This makes Rhea’s emotional control more important than her physical strength.

Rhea grew up in the Kingdom of Mistral with a relatively normal childhood. She was raised by her mother, Regalia Hughes, though her mother eventually disappeared shortly after Rhea graduated from Argus Combat.

Rhea attended the smaller Huntsman academy Argus Combat, hoping to become a capable Huntress. She graduated, but she was never particularly skilled at conventional combat. Rhea relies heavily on her pistol and her Semblance, often struggling when forced into close-quarters combat or situations where she cannot rely on her usual methods. She failed to advance into Haven Academy, something that contributed heavily to her poor self-esteem.

Despite being an adult, Rhea is extremely gullible and easy to manipulate. She tends to assume that other people know better than she does and can be tricked surprisingly easily. She is also cowardly and prone to self-hatred, frequently doubting her own abilities and wondering why anyone would rely on her.

However, Rhea has a strong compassionate streak. When someone she cares about is in danger, her body can act before her fear has time to stop her. She doesn’t consider herself brave; she simply finds herself moving toward danger before she can think about the consequences.
